Jake's incredible journey saw him move from a background in soccer and track to becoming a dedicated runner and coach who thrives on pushing his limits through remarkable physical challenges.
Running became a therapeutic outlet during Jake's college years, leading him to embrace a metric-free approach to fully enjoy the experience. Since then, he has developed a commitment to completing at least one physical challenge each year, showcasing his dedication to personal growth.
Along the way, he has completed a string of awe-inspiring challenges, including climbing Mount Rainier, running rim-to-rim across the Grand Canyon, and trekking the W route in Patagonia and the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu.
These adventures, often just beyond his comfort zone, have taught him valuable life lessons about his capabilities and self-discovery.
Jake has since moved into coaching as part of his Working Order business, which also includes a Substack newsletter of the same name. He emphasises the power of storytelling in inspiring others and discusses the value of tackling challenges later in life, encouraging everyone to find their own path to success.
